At Toppers Zone, we take student privacy extremely seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our website and application.
We collect the minimum information required to deliver a personalized, gamified study experience:
Your data is used to run your study dashboard, compute leaderboard ranks and streaks, sync your notes/tasks/settings across devices, personalize achievements and badges, power Gyanu AI's responses, and improve the platform based on feedback. We do not use your study data to make claims about your academic performance to any third party.
Account and progress data is stored in Supabase (a hosted PostgreSQL database with row-level security) under our project. Some preferences and drafts are also cached locally in your browser's storage for speed, then synced to your account when you're signed in.
We integrate a small number of third-party services, each used only for its specific purpose:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to advertisers or data brokers, and we do not run third-party ad networks on Toppers Zone.
Your display name, avatar, level, streak, and anything you post in the Community feed are visible to other signed-in students. Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information in public posts or comments.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can export your data or request account/data deletion at any time from Settings, or by reaching out through the Feedback button — we'll act on deletion requests as soon as reasonably possible.
Toppers Zone is designed for school and competitive-exam students, some of whom may be minors. We do not knowingly collect more information than necessary to run the study features above, and we encourage users under 18 to use the platform with a parent or guardian's awareness.
We rely on Supabase's encrypted infrastructure and row-level security policies to restrict access to your data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable technical measures to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform grows. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we make material changes.
